Hiring outlook weakens on falling Rupee

With the Rupee falling against most currencies, the hiring outlook for India has weakened. The phenomenon of slow hiring has affected most of the Asia Pacific region. As the weakening rupee has started affecting companies’ bottomline, it has started impacting talent management in most Indian companies.  While most companies are not considering reduction in the existing workforce, the hiring outlook is stagnant. Among other forms of hiring, campus placements will likely suffer greatly if the trend continues. The hiring slowdown is across the board and not restricted to any particular industry.
