Infosys talent hunt goes beyond CEO

Infosys has expanded its search beyond the CEO when it sifts through scores of internal candidates evaluated by a US-based evaluation specialist firm, even as fear of fresh senior management exits rise. The Bangalore-based company will take feedback from Pennsylvania-based Development Dimensions International’s evaluation of six vice presidents before it decides to give a bigger role to an executive. This comes after one of Infosys’ two presidents, BG Srinivas, quit last week. Further, DDI’s evaluation of other mid-managerial executives, including associate vice presidents–done separately–would also help Infosys identify the next set of leaders to run its six business units, said two people familiar with the development.”
