Startups hunt research talent at top global institutes

Talent analytics startup Jombay is on the prowl for research talent and CEO Mohit Gundecha has set his sights on no less than Stanford University and USC, Berkeley. Gundecha reached out to his alma mater Stanford through the alumni network to recruit behaviourial scientists and data scientists and is, at the moment, in advanced talks with some of the doctoral and post-doctoral students there to get them on board in the new year. Startups including the likes of Jombay, Aspiring Minds, Indus Insights, Freecharge and Housing.com are hiring aggressively for research roles - and going the extra mile to get the right people on board.
