Union Budget 2014 expected to push job creation

In an opinion poll conducted by career and job search portal HeadHonchos, 65 per cent of respondents believe unequivocally that the Union budget of 2014-15 will implement strong measures and succeed in giving a definite push to economic growth and job creation. 31 per cent of the respondents were not overly optimistic, holding the belief that while some sectors will gain, it will take more than the budget to kick-start growth. Only 4 per cent of respondents held a pessimistic view and indicated that the budget will have no positive impact at all. The poll findings were based on 83 responses, with one of the respondents stating that the positive mood is a good start in itself, bringing back confidence and setting the tone for constructive change. The underlying sense for the respondents was that business-friendly policies will boost growth, paving the way for job creation.
