Google offers inflated pay to Chairman

Despite the slump in stock, Google paid its billionaire Chairman, Eric Schmidt approximately $109 million. Most of this compensation comprised stock worth over $100 million. It was the largest Schmidt has received since 2011. The inflated payout came amidst investor concerns about the company’s investments in projects and falling stock.
