TCS, HDFC among the two best managed companies in the country

In an annual poll conducted by Finance Asia magazine, to find the region's best managed companies, IT magnum Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and banking giant HDFC have been names as the two best managed companies in the country. IT major Infosys, Bharti Airtel and ONGC followed behind making a list of the top five best managed companies in India
The report also declared TCS's Natarajan Chadrasekaran and ICICI Bank's Chanda Kochhar as the two best CEOs of the country whereas V Balakrishnan of Infosys and Koushik Chatterjee of Tata Steel as the two best CFOs.
The findings of the report are based on votes from more than 300 investors and analysts across the region.
The sixth spot was taken by SBI, followed by Page Industries, which ranked seventh. Reliance Communications, Cadilla Healthcare, Tata Group and Tata Motors all ranked at the eighth position.
In category of the best corporate governance practices, Infosys was at the top, followed by HDFC, Wipro, Tata Group, ONGC, TCS, Bharti airtel, RCom and Tata Motors.
