As many as 59% of employees in India report feeling stressed in everyday life, according to a survey by Marsh India, an insurance broker. Studies reveal that stress is one of the major factors behind the poor health of employees in India.
A large chunk of corporate employees in India are deprived of cardiovascular screening and timely treatment, and in dire need of a holistic heart health programme to complement the current corporate wellness offerings.
To cater to the emerging needs, Bengaluru-based a medical device and wellness care company India Health Link (IHL) has come up with a customised solution.
IHL Care ‘Digital Health Centre’ is a first of its kind integrated heart health programme that complements corporate wellness, providing customised health solutions. The ‘hPod’ brought by IHL Care is a self-service ATM size health station. It is capable of screening (20 plus) essential vital parameters including key parameters like blood pressure, temperature, body mass composition, pulse, SPO2, and ECG, without any paramedic assistance.
