Tata Consumer Products, the consumer products Company uniting the principal food and beverage interests of the Tata Group under one umbrella, has launched a comprehensive Caregivers Support Program, ‘CUSP’ for its employees in India who are new parents or are on the cusp of parenthood. The program is aimed at helping employees successfully balance their professional and personal commitments to foster a more inclusive and progressive workplace.
The CUSP program aims to equip, guide and support new parents, managers, and HR colleagues for the journey ahead through policies, benefits and comprehensive handbooks.
Amit Chincholikar, Global CHRO, Tata Consumer Products speaking about the new program said, “We are delighted to offer a holistic program for employees who are on the cusp of parenthood. Enabling and supporting our colleagues through their parenthood journey is a privilege, and CUSP our Caregivers Support Program in India is our attempt at ensuring that they have the necessary support during this period. As part of CUSP, we are offering several benefits including flexible work arrangements for new mothers, day-care facilities, and counselling services for new parents.”
As part of the CUSP program, there are also provisions for employees who are adopting children and support for new fathers through the Paternity leave policy. The new program is applicable to all employees of Tata Consumer Products in India.
The steps come as more and more companies focus on providing more support to employees in the face of changing work models and structures to ensure their well being.
