Graduate Employability Model
People Matters, in partnership with CEB, organized a webinar on the "Graduate Employability Model - the key to Graduate Hiring Process". It is estimated that India has the highest youth population globally and the number of young people completing university degree is steadily rising. However, recruitment leaders have been expressing concerns related to getting good talent. There are three main aspects which need careful consideration - Employability Gap; Getting the Right Graduate Fit and Managing Volume Applications.
The webinar, facilitated by Shaurav Sen, Advisory Leader, Asia, CEB focused on what the new Graduate Employability Framework is; why is it proven to predict the likelihood of success in graduate roles; and how to roll out this framework in an organization? Shaurav elaborated on the global challenges of recruiting; models of employability - which graduate competencies to focus on graduate recruitment strategies, and what are graduates looking from us and what it means to build stronger EVP.
