Work made human -Sanjay Sinha, CHRO, Fortis Healthcare
The use of advanced technology is transforming the world of work. Transactional work is no longer going to be the norm as AI-based technologies take over the workplace. Work is going to become simpler, smarter and more agile. Keeping the human element in this seamless mesh of humans and machines would be the biggest challenge of the HR fraternity.
In this context, People Matters in association with Oracle interviewed CHROs from leading companies about how to make work more human. In this video, Sanjay Sinha, CHRO, Fortis Healthcare shares his insights:
- As a company in the healthcare industry where we deal with a wide network of stakeholders – from patients and healthcare professionals, and where work spans a 24x7 timeline. Having the support of technology to enhance the human element is extremely important.
- With data coming through analytics – it is extremely easy, convenient to finding gaps in learning, performance. And then engage in meaningful conversations. In the last five years, there has been a big shift in the quality of content in learning platforms, which are also device agnostic.
- With the help of technology, HRBPs are becoming full-fledged business partners – where routine tasks will be automated. And the focus will be on high-level value contribution to the business.
