There is a need for L&D to ensure strong collaborative learning amongst all stakeholders, says Prasad JM, Chief HR, ING Vysya Bank. As organizations are looking at cutting investments in trainings, there is a need for L&D interventions that can enable transition learning. The concept of hire and train has now changed to source, train and then hire. L&D would need to be aware of the difference between a strategy and a plan, understanding organizational and business priorities in order to be able to deliver value to the business.
