Salary gap between freshers and mid-level executives in IT to widen

The gap in salaries between freshers and mid-level professionals in the IT industry is likely to widen by 8 times this year. IT companies are looking to curtail the cost of training freshers. Post-recession, entry level salaries have remained stagnant while mid-level salaries have grown between 8% and 14%. Adjusted for inflation, entry-level salaries have actually fallen in the IT industry in the last 10 years.
