Tata Motors to cut costs through VRS

To build a younger and efficient workforce and to cut costs, Tata Motors has introduced a VRS for all employees. The company’s statement reveals that it is in alignment with the company’s direction for market alignment. The scheme entails a monthly payout (including base salary and dearness allowance) that begins at the date of separation and continues until the employee turns 60.
