Mitsubishi Electric India gets new MD

Makoto Kitai has been appointed the new Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric India, the company said in a statement on Monday. He succeeds Shinji Yamabe, who is returning to Japan to take up responsibility of the Global Strategic Planning and Marketing Group as General Manager, Regional Marketing Division. Kitai has been a part of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation since 1987 and has handled sales, marketing, budget control, management support and project management.
