View from the Top | Julie Stuart of Rapid Response Revival

Julie Stuart is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Rapid Response Revival, a New South Wales-based company dedicated to innovating automated external defibrillator (AED) solutions.

The company, which was founded in 2015, is relatively young and counts on the experience and expertise of a leader like Julie who has handled organisations with a larger workforce. 

Julie has been in the HR space for at least 25 years, starting with recruitment roles before moving up to manager positions and eventually becoming CHRO.

Much of her decades-long career was spent with Avanade, a provider of digital, cloud, and advisory services for businesses.

Julie spent 12 years with Avanade, starting as Generalist Recruiter for the UK and Australia from 2001 to 2004.

A year later, Julie was promoted to HR Manager, a post she held for four years before becoming HR Director for Southeast Asia, Australia, and China in 2009. 

Julie’s role with Avande expanded in 2011 when she became HR Director for the whole of the Asian Pacific Region. 

After Avande, Julie had a brief stint with Salmat and Mercer for a couple of years before she joined the University of Wollongong (UOW) Global Enterprises in 2017.

The organisation owns and operates the UOW in Dubai, the UOW College Australia, and the UOW College Hong Kong.

Julie held the Executive Director for People and Culture in UOW. Later on, she even became the Global COVID Health Officer. 

During her five-year stint there, she managed a diverse global workforce, while the company consistently made it to the Employer of Choice for Gender Equality list by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

Julie left UOW Global Enterprises in August 2022 to join Rapid Response Revival where she is in-charge of cultivating success for the people of a fast-growing team.
