1 million jobs likely from solar energy output

The country’s ambition to reach 100 gigawatt solar energy by 2022 could create 1 million jobs in the country. It will also improve the energy access for Indian citizens to help fight climate change. In addition, India’s goal to achieve 60 gigawatts from wind energy may also likely create 180000 jobs.
