100 million jobs to be created in manufacturing

Commerce and industry minister, Anand Sharma said that India is looking to create as many as 100 million skilled jobs in the manufacturing sector by raising it GDP share from 16 per cent to 25 per cent. Sharma announced this in the World Economic Forum at Davos. According to Sharma, the move is to provide a boost to exports and sustaibanility.
