Contingency search firms booming

Contingency search firms registered as much as 40% growth in the last six months as organizations look to cut costs in hiring. Firms such as Lighthouse Partners, Mancer Consulting and Xpert Conexions have seen a substantial jump in the number of clients in the past 6-12 months. Lighthouse Partners is growing at 35%-40%, with nearly 75% of its revenue coming from 20 new clients it has added in the past six to eight months. Mancer Consulting, on the other hand, has added 32 clients in the past six months and has grown by 40% while Xpert Conexions has added 30 clients in the past six months.
