DLF cuts staff strength by 30% after outsourcing activities

Realty major DLF reduced its employee strength by 1,100, or about 30 per cent, during 2012-13 after outsourcing its construction and facility management activities, PTI reported.

DLF had 2,600 employees on its rolls at the end of 2012-13, compared with 3,700 employees at the end of 2011-12, according to the company's latest annual report. The 1,100 employees have not been laid-off but have been redeployed to the outsourcing firms, a company official said.
