Government proposes Mumbai-Bangalore corridor

The Government will start preliminary work on a proposal for a Mumbai Bangalore economic corridor. The economic corridor proposes four new cities and many residential and commercial establishments and will lead to an employment of 2.5 million jobs. The corridor is proposed to boost manufacturing activity in the country. The Indian government will work with the British government for a joint feasibility study.
