How Teach for India Began

Shaheen talks about the journey of Akanksha Foundation and the start of Teach for India. Akanksha centers integrated the children who needed education and volunteers who wanted to teach, and its model was dramatically changed from being an after-school supplement model to becoming full schools for kids. This in turn was scaled across the system and that's how Teach for India was launched.
