JSPL slashes 750 jobs

After suffering consolidated loss of Rs 1675 crores for the third consecutive quarter, JSPL has slashed 750 jobs. The losses are primarily due to the penalties that Supreme Court has imposed to the company on coal block allocation. The company currently has approximately 15000 employees.
