Hay Group's Pathway to productivity model

Consulting firm, Hay Group feels that while engagement levels are certainly important, they are merely the entry point and not the overall driver for success. It cites its research which highlights employee enablement as the missing link to productivity. It is in this context that it has come out with the pathway to productivity model. The model describes nine drivers of employee effectiveness that lead to employee engagement, effectiveness and productivity. The nine drivers as listed by the firm are clarity and direction, confidence in leaders, quality and customer focus, respect and recognition, compensation and benefits, performance management, authority and empowerment, cooperation, and structure, work and processes.
