Pilot shortage in Jet Airways

Jet Airways is facing an acute shortage of pilots after the DG of aviation issued notices to 131 pilots last month for meeting mandatory licensing requirements. 2 of Jet’s pilots were suspended by the authority. Jet Airways has over 1000 pilots and its subsidiary, Jet Lite has 189 pilots currently in the rolls.
