SEBI announces penalties for cos. failing to appoint women on board

SEBI will penalise companies under a graded model for listed companies which have failed to appoint women directors on board. The penalty is likely to be relaxed for defaulting public sector companies. The regulator will wait until the beginning of next month before announcing the final course of penalties.
