Tata rolls out women's empowerment

Tata’s wholly owned subsidiary, Coastal Gujarat Power Limited, has adopted a multi dimensional development program to empower women. With the aim of sustainable development and future of the fishermen and women communities, the company has undertaken several measures under its corporate social responsibility initiatives. Among them include self help groups, income generation trainings, and skill upgrade programs.
