Publicis Global Delivery (PGD) has appointed Sugandha Sharma as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, according to an update shared by Sharma on her official LinkedIn profile on 27 July 2025. She is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
In her post, Sharma wrote: “I’m happy to share an update that I’m starting a new position as Senior Vice President Human Resources at Publicis Global Delivery (PGD)!”
She joins PGD after serving as General Manager – Employee Experience Practice at Cognizant, where she worked from November 2023 to July 2025. Prior to that, she was HR Head for India, Argentina, Spain and the UK at DMI (Digital Management, LLC), from August 2022 to November 2023.
Sharma brings a rich and diverse HR portfolio spanning nearly 20 years, with roles across global organisations in IT, digital services, and consulting. Her expertise includes employee experience, organisational development, HR business partnering, and strategic capability building.
She began her career with Wipro, where she spent over five years across multiple roles, including India Lead HR Business Partner, Manager – Organisation Capability & Development, and HR Lead – Cloud Infrastructure Services for the Americas Region.
In earlier roles at Wipro, Sharma led human resource functions in India and supported business units across multiple geographies. Her focus areas included workforce transformation, capability enhancement, and business-aligned HR practices.
She also held a key role at DMI where she was responsible for HR leadership across four countries, further building her international exposure and cross-cultural leadership skills.
In addition to her industry experience, Sharma has invested in ongoing executive education.
She recently completed a programme in Strategic Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (2023–2024). She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development (2005–2007), where she served as Senior Placement Coordinator.
Publicis Global Delivery serves as the global delivery backbone for Publicis Groupe, supporting capabilities across technology, operations, media, and data services in multiple regions including India and Latin America. With Sharma stepping into the senior HR leadership role, her cross-sector experience is expected to support PGD’s global talent and transformation agenda.
