Bangalore based HR tech startup, Skillenza, according to reports, has raised $1 million pre-Series-A funding. 

This round of funding was led by CBA Capital's Education Catalyst Fund (ECF), along with Blume Ventures and Tracxn Labs, Let’sVenture, CIO Angel Network, Keiretsu Forum, and Hyderabad Angels.

The four year old startup helps professionals and students find jobs, and companies hire by leveraging assessments that verify and validate skills. The company plans to expand its reach to Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities, according its founder Subhendu Panigrahi. It will also work on credentialing final year engineering students.

The company claims to have over 40 clients including the likes of Ola, Hike, and Simplilearn.
