Today, the eagerly awaited ceremony to consecrate Lord Ram's idol at the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya is taking place. The "Pran Pratishtha" ceremony is scheduled from 12:20 p.m. to 1 p.m. Following this, PM Modi will address a gathering of over 7,000 people, including religious leaders and notable personalities at the location. Industrialists Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, along with his family, and renowned entrepreneur Ratan Tata are among the prominent Indian business figures invited as special guests for the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The consecration ceremony marks a significant moment following the first phase of the temple's construction, prompted by a Supreme Court judgment in 2019 on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit. The dispute involved Hindu litigants contending that the Babri Mosque was built on the site of a temple marking Lord Ram's birthplace. The mosque was subsequently demolished in 1992 by "kar sevaks."
