Max Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Iqbal Mir as the Vice President of Human Resources, with effect from March 2024. 

In his new role, Iqbal brings over 17 years of HR leadership experience across HR consulting, management consulting and insurance sectors. He most recently worked with Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance in the capacity of Deputy Vice President of HR. 

In his previous roles, Iqbal served Bajaj Allianz Life as the AVP HR Business Partner, MetLife as the HRBP- Zonal Head North, KPMG India as the HR-Business Consultant, and Deloitte as the HR for Business Consulting and Technology Team. He also worked with Manpower Recruitment and Planman HR at the beginning of his career. 

On the academic front, Iqbal holds an MBA/ PGDM in Human Resources from Fortune Institute of International Business, and has completed Certification in HR Leadership and Strategic HR from Harvard Business School Executive Education, as well as, from Cornell University. His core competencies include, recruitment, employee engagement, talent acquisition and retention, talent management, HR compliance, and management consulting.
