India Inc welcomed Narendra Modi's nomination as BJP's prime ministerial candidate on the strength of his track record in transforming Gujarat, although some wondered whether it would be possible to replicate the model across the country. For this Economic Times report, many top CEOs and industrialists declined comment, but those that did praised the choice.
