IDFC FIRST Bank bets on internal talent, elevates Pankaj Singh as CHRO

IDFC FIRST Bank has elevated Pankaj Singh as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective April 27, 2026, in a leadership transition that underscores the bank’s emphasis on building talent from within and maintaining continuity in its people strategy.

Singh takes charge of the bank’s human resources function after holding senior HR leadership responsibilities within the organisation. His appointment comes as Adrian Andrade, the bank’s outgoing CHRO, moves into a strategic role reporting to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer ahead of his planned superannuation.

The transition places an internal leader at the helm of the bank’s people agenda at a time when workforce transformation, leadership development and organisational capability remain central priorities across the banking sector.
