Yugesh Goutam, a renowned and respected name in the HR space, passed away this morning after a prolonged illness. Goutam was a seasoned HR professional and had over 29 years of diverse experience across sectors (FMCG, IT, Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Healthcare & Medical Devices and Infrastructure) and geographies (India, Asia, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America) in both Indian and multinational companies.

He had gathered extensive experience in the field of HR and leadership in his various stints at renowned organizations like Lupin, RPG, JSW, Pfizer and Reliance. In his current role at Lupin, he was responsible for human resources for the company and its subsidiaries worldwide. 

Goutam had a commendable track record of developing and sustaining scalable leading edge HR systems/practices for large scale businesses across the global. He had demonstrated the ability to drive positive change and to build high performance cultures. He exhibited capabilities in counseling & coaching business leaders, mergers & acquisitions, building organization capability, high caliber talent hiring for global operations, leadership development, organization design & restructuring.

Goutam was an alumnus of Michigan University & Kellogg Business School, North Western University. Through his many blogs, tweets and opinions published in various online/offline platforms, Goutam had ensured his views and thoughts reached far and wide. 

With his immense knowledge and experience in the field, Goutam was a very respected and popular personality in his fraternity. People who knew him remember him as a great soul who was always ready to go that extra mile. He will truly be missed.
