Imperial Auto, a global fluid transmission solutions provider, has appointed Sandeep Bathla as Chief Global Operations Officer.
Bathla will lead the company's global manufacturing operations and focus on improving productivity, accelerating automation and technology adoption, and strengthening supply chain capabilities.
He will also work to bring greater consistency across Imperial Auto's manufacturing network as the company prepares for its next phase of growth. Bathla will report to Vikram Wagh, MD and CEO of Imperial Auto.
Focus on manufacturing and supply chain
Bathla's mandate includes strengthening manufacturing excellence and improving operational capabilities across the company's global network.
The appointment is expected to support Imperial Auto's efforts to improve manufacturing productivity and build stronger supply chain capabilities.

Bathla brings three decades of experience
Bathla brings more than three decades of experience across the automotive and manufacturing sectors, with expertise in operations, manufacturing excellence and business leadership.
Before joining Imperial Auto, he served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Plasser India.
He has also held leadership roles at Blue Star Limited, Motherson Sintermetal Technology Limited and Eicher Tractors.
Bathla holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra and a Doctor of Philosophy from European International University, Paris.
His appointment comes as Imperial Auto continues to strengthen its manufacturing and engineering capabilities and expand its presence across global markets.
