Kunvarji Group has appointed Bhakti Rana as its Group HR Head, strengthening its leadership team as the diversified conglomerate focuses on organisational capability, culture and long-term growth.
The appointment was announced by the company in an official LinkedIn post, confirming Rana’s role as Group HR Head with effect from December 2025.
In her new role, Rana will work closely with the group’s leadership to design people strategies and business policies aligned with Kunvarji’s growth priorities. Her mandate includes strengthening organisational culture, building leadership capability and creating a sustainable and positive work environment across the group’s businesses.
Rana brings over two decades of experience in human resources and business partnering across large corporates, MSMEs and start-ups. Over the course of her career, she has worked closely with founders, promoters and leadership teams on talent strategy, organisation development and workforce transformation.
She has previously held senior HR and talent leadership roles across sectors including financial services, manufacturing, IT, education and waste management. Her experience includes leading talent acquisition at Centrum Group, driving learning and development initiatives for a large gems and jewellery organisation, and advising MSMEs and start-ups on HR strategy and people systems.
Beyond corporate roles, Rana has been actively involved in mentoring micro-entrepreneurs and women-led businesses through CSR-linked programmes and community initiatives. She has worked with government-backed women development schemes and is associated with women entrepreneurship communities focused on grassroots capability building.
Academically, Rana holds a postgraduate qualification in human resources and a Master of Commerce degree, along with certifications in organisational development and board readiness. She is also qualified to be considered for independent director roles and is currently pursuing advanced studies in organisational psychology.
