LinkedIn has appointed Ruchee Anand as Vice President – Talent Solutions, Asia Pacific, handing her responsibility for one of the company’s most strategically important regions as hiring models, skills demand and AI adoption continue to evolve.
Anand’s appointment was announced in a LinkedIn post, where she described stepping into the role as a moment to both reflect and look ahead. She credited her leadership journey to long-term mentorship and organisational clarity, and said she would focus on accountability, partnership and access to opportunity at scale.

She succeeds Feon Ang, under whose leadership the APAC Talent Solutions business expanded with a focus on disciplined growth and operational rigour.
Anand has spent more than 13 years at LinkedIn, holding senior leadership roles across sales, talent, learning and engagement solutions. Most recently, she served as Senior Director – Talent, Learning and Engagement Solutions, India, where she led the business with full P&L responsibility and oversaw strategy and go-to-market execution.
Her elevation comes at a time when organisations across Asia Pacific are reassessing how they hire, upskill and retain talent. Business reporting by Reuters and the Wall Street Journal has consistently highlighted growing employer focus on skills-based hiring, data-driven recruitment and workforce agility, trends that sit at the core of LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions portfolio.
In her statement, Anand acknowledged the influence of Feon Ang, noting lessons around accountability and clarity in leadership. She said she looked forward to working closely with teams and customers across the region, while staying anchored in execution and responsibility.
Beyond her commercial roles, Anand has been closely involved in leadership development and inclusion initiatives within LinkedIn. She previously served as Global Co-Chair of “Women at LinkedIn”, the company’s largest employee resource group, and led the India chapter of the ERG. She is also a certified executive coach through the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching programme and currently serves as a regional council member for nasscom’s West Region.
Anand holds an MBA in Marketing from the Department of Management Sciences (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University, and is based in Mumbai.
As she takes on the APAC role, Anand will be tasked with navigating a region marked by uneven hiring cycles, rising skills gaps and increasing use of AI in recruitment—pressures that are reshaping how employers connect talent with opportunity.
