Apollo Enterprise Strategy has appointed Mandavi Singh as Principal and Head of Human Capital – India, effective January 2026, as the firm strengthens its leadership bench in the country.
In her new role, Singh will lead the organisation’s people agenda in India, focusing on aligning human capital strategy with business priorities, building high-performing teams, strengthening governance frameworks, and supporting long-term growth.
Singh brings more than 20 years of experience across the employee lifecycle, spanning talent strategy, organisational development, and HR transformation. Most recently, she worked at M&G plc in London as an HR Business Partner, supporting senior leaders in linking workforce planning with business outcomes.
Prior to that, she served as Head of Human Resources – India at M&G Global Services Private Limited, overseeing HR operations and key people programmes across the firm’s India presence.
Her earlier career includes senior HR leadership roles at Assurant, where she managed HR across multiple business units, and at IDFC FIRST Bank, where she contributed to building talent systems and workplace culture during the bank’s formative years.
Singh has also held leadership positions at Tata Mutual Fund, Forbes Marshall, Religare, and Reliance Brands, giving her exposure across financial services, consumer businesses, and industrial organisations.
She holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from the University of South Wales and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Apollo Enterprise Strategies (India) LLP, based in Mumbai, was formed in July 2025 and is linked to Apollo Global Management. The firm supports enterprise and investment-led work across credit and equity, with a focus on long-term value creation in India.
Singh’s appointment comes as firms across financial and investment services continue to sharpen their people strategies to compete for specialised talent and scale operations in a fast-evolving market.
