Sun Pharma's Rasik Dave joins V S International as HR Head

V S International has appointed Rasik Dave, a long-serving human resources leader at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, as its new Head of Human Resources.

Dave joins the healthcare company with more than two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, including nearly 20 years in senior HR roles at Sun Pharma. His move signals a leadership reinforcement at a time when V S International is expanding its footprint in the healthcare market.

During his tenure at Sun Pharma, Dave was involved in shaping talent strategy, workforce planning and HR transformation initiatives across business units. He also held positions at Zydus Lifesciences, where he contributed to organisational development programmes and employee engagement frameworks.

At V S International, Dave will oversee recruitment, leadership development and performance management systems. His mandate includes embedding a culture focused on accountability, innovation and regulatory compliance — critical priorities in a tightly governed healthcare environment.

The company said he will also lead efforts to integrate HR analytics and digital tools into core people processes, with the aim of strengthening decision-making and scaling operations in line with business growth.

Dave is an alumnus of the Prin. L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research and is known for aligning HR strategy closely with commercial objectives in regulated industries.

The appointment reflects V S International’s broader focus on building sustainable talent capabilities and strengthening its leadership bench as it navigates growth and increased complexity in the healthcare sector.

As pharmaceutical and healthcare companies contend with compliance demands, digital transformation and evolving workforce expectations, leadership in HR functions is becoming increasingly strategic. Dave’s experience in large-scale talent management and transformation will likely play a central role in shaping V S International’s next phase of organisational development.
