Bharti AXA Life Insurance has promoted Vishal Sinha to Head – Corporate HR, Learning & Development (L&D) and Organisational Development (OD), effective immediately.
Sinha announced the leadership move on LinkedIn, expressing his commitment to strengthening a people-first culture and supporting the organisation’s growth agenda.

Sinha brings more than 22 years of experience spanning human resources, learning and development, talent acquisition and organisational transformation. He has spent more than five years with Bharti AXA Life Insurance, progressing through leadership roles across HR, talent acquisition and training.
Before taking on his current role, Sinha served as Head – Corporate HR & Talent Acquisition. Prior to that, he was Head – Training, Partnership Distribution & Corporate HR, where he led L&D for HR and training across partnership distribution and other business channels.
Before joining Bharti AXA Life Insurance, Sinha was Business Head – B2B Corporate Training at Max Skill First Limited, where he worked with enterprise clients on learning, capability building and organisational change initiatives.
He also held leadership positions at Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, where his responsibilities included partner training strategy, learning programmes, capability building and business impact across distribution channels.
Sinha began his career in 2002 and has held roles spanning operations, business development, financial education and training. Over the years, he has designed and implemented several learning and capability-building programmes, including initiatives that were subsequently scaled nationally.
He completed the Future CHRO Program at the Indian School of Business (ISB), and holds an MBA in Human Resources from IMI Delhi. He also has qualifications in life insurance, financial planning, derivatives markets and mutual funds.
In his new role, Sinha will oversee corporate HR, L&D and organisational development at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, as the company continues to strengthen its people and organisational capability agenda.
