Consolidated, one of India's Apple partners, has appointed Rohith Kumar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Kumar said he will lead the company's people agenda as it pursues an ambitious expansion strategy over the next few years.
The appointment brings an HR leader with more than 18 years of experience across retail sectors, including apparel, food and grocery, quick service restaurants (QSR) and consumer electronics.
CHRO to support next phase of growth
Announcing his appointment, Kumar said he has joined Consolidated, which operates iPlanet Stores and Service Centres alongside its Enterprise and Education business verticals.
"I'm delighted to share that I have joined as Chief Human Resources Officer at Consolidated, one of India's leading partner for Apple, through our iPlanet Stores and Service Centres, along with our Enterprise and Education Business Verticals," he said.
Kumar highlighted the organisation has set an ambitious growth target.
"We have embarked on our Journey to be 5x over the next few years, and thereby continuing to be India's leading partner for Apple, with a considerable share of pie in the overall Apple's Business in India."
According to Kumar, employees will remain central to the company's expansion plans.

Extensive retail HR experience
Kumar joins Consolidated after serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at Arvind Fashions Limited.
His career spans leadership positions across India's retail and consumer sectors.

- Previously worked as Chief People Officer at Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd.

His expertise includes strategic HR, talent management, talent acquisition, organisational development and career management.
