Meesho has appointed Ravi Goel as Chief of Staff in the CEO’s office, strengthening its leadership team with a professional who spent more than a decade advising organisations on technology and transformation initiatives.
The appointment was disclosed by Goel in a LinkedIn post. He assumed the role in August 2026 and is based in Bengaluru.
Goel joins the e-commerce platform after a career spanning more than 11 years at McKinsey & Company, where he worked across technology, analytics and digital transformation mandates.
From McKinsey to Meesho
Before joining Meesho, Goel served as Expert (Engagement Manager), Tech and AI at McKinsey from July 2023 to July 2026.
Over the course of his tenure at the consulting firm, he progressed through multiple roles and worked on projects spanning technology strategy and business transformation.
His positions at McKinsey included:

- Junior Analyst
According to his professional profile, his work covered areas such as technology transformation, digital strategy, IT benchmarking and analytics.
Experience across technology and infrastructure
Prior to his long stint at McKinsey, Goel gained exposure to the power, infrastructure and consulting sectors through a series of internships and early-career assignments.

- Ministry of Defence
- Indraprastha Power Generation Company Ltd
During this period, he worked on projects related to power distribution, transmission and generation, as well as infrastructure development and sector research.
Leadership addition for the CEO’s office
The Chief of Staff role typically works closely with senior leadership on strategic priorities, operational alignment and cross-functional initiatives. Goel’s appointment brings to Meesho a leader with experience in technology-led transformation and analytics gained through years of consulting work across industries.
The move comes as companies continue to place greater emphasis on technology, AI and operational efficiency, areas that have formed a significant part of Goel’s professional background.
With his transition from consulting to an operating role, Goel is set to work closely with Meesho’s leadership team from the company’s Bengaluru base.
