Anupam Sirbhaiya has been promoted as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Bajaj Finserv, elevating a seasoned business and HR leader with over nine years of deep experience within the Group and a career spanning over three decades.
Sirbhaiya steps into the Group CHRO role from his previous position as the Chief of Human Resources & Administration for Bajaj Finance, a key entity within the Group, where he served for over six years. His promotion, effective November 2025, positions him to lead the HR strategy across the entire Bajaj Finserv conglomerate.
The appointment marks a significant strategic move, capitalising on Sirbhaiya’s unique background rooted in Leadership Development and Talent Management, a critical area for a rapidly expanding financial services group like Bajaj Finserv.
His three-decade-long career has focused on enabling business objectives through people strategy.
The crucial foundation of his expertise was built over an eight-year tenure at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where he was the Country Manager for India. In this role, he was responsible for leading the entire India office, building the business from the ground up, and creating high-impact leadership development solutions for key leadership levels and critical talent to build a strong leadership pipeline.
This expertise in strategic talent building continued earlier in his career with a five-year stint as a Senior Consultant at the Tata Management Training Center (TMTC), the Tata Group’s corporate learning centre, leading key group-level learning interventions. Sirbhaiya also gained entrepreneurial experience, having founded a management consulting firm that focused on people management and executive search for start-up organisations.
Since joining the Bajaj Finserv Group in 2016, Sirbhaiya has been a key part of its growth journey. He began his tenure as the Head - Group Learning Academy, where he focused on creating a synergised learning approach anchored in the business, supporting the diversified financial services portfolio. This early focus on talent has been a cornerstone of his journey within the Group.
