Club Mahindra appoints Ghanashyam Hegdekatte as Chief Human Resources Officer

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts, widely known as Club Mahindra, has appointed Ghanashyam Hegdekatte as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately. 

“We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ghanashyam Hegdekatte as the new Chief Human Resource Officer at Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India,” the company announced. 
“With over 16 years of diverse experience across HR Business Partnering and Centres of Expertise, and over a decade of impactful leadership within the Mahindra Group, Ghanashyam brings deep expertise in shaping people strategies, nurturing leadership talent, and driving cultural transformation across businesses,” it added.
Hegdekatte, a homegrown top talent of the Mahindra Group, has most recently been serving as Head of Organization Effectiveness (Automotive and Farm Sectors), overseeing the verticals of Talent Management, Organization Development, Learning and Development, and Inclusion and Diversity. 
Prior to that, he held various leadership roles, including Head of HR for Automotive Business - Manufacturing & Quality and International Operations, Head of HR for Personal Vehicle (Sales and Marketing) and Commercial Vehicle Business, Head HR for Mahindra Truck and Bus Business and Construction Equipment Business, and Head HR for Mahindra EPC & Business Strategy. 
Throughout his journey within the Group, he has partnered with C-suite executives to craft effective people strategies and address complex HR challenges, particularly during periods of growth and business turnaround.

Hegdekatte began his career as a Software Engineer at Nokia India after completing his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from B.M.S. College of Engineering.
