Lennox India Technology Centre names Madhurya Hariharan as HR director

Lennox India Technology Centre has appointed Madhurya Hariharan as its new Director of Human Resources, strengthening the company’s leadership as it continues to expand its technology and engineering presence in India.

In her new role, Hariharan will lead the people and talent functions for Lennox India, focusing on shaping the company’s human capital strategy, building leadership capability, and fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and performance across its India operations.

A seasoned HR professional with over two decades of experience, Hariharan has worked across global organisations in talent management, organisational development, and capability building. Announcing her appointment on LinkedIn, she said she was “thrilled to join Lennox” and looked forward to contributing to a “people-first, technology-led workplace culture.”

Founded more than 130 years ago, Lennox International is a global leader in sustainable climate control solutions, offering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration technologies. Its India technology centre, based in Chennai, plays a key role in product innovation, engineering design, and digital transformation for Lennox’s global markets.

Hariharan said she was inspired by the company’s commitment to energy efficiency, innovation, and community impact, citing its corporate social responsibility programmes and collaborative work culture as defining strengths. “Every colleague I meet embodies values of excellence, and together, we’re creating market-leading products and services that make a real difference,” she said.

Her appointment comes at a time when Lennox India is expanding its R&D and engineering capabilities to support the company’s global transformation agenda. Industry observers say her leadership will be crucial in aligning workforce development with the company’s growth priorities while strengthening employee engagement and inclusion.

As Lennox India continues to scale operations, Hariharan’s focus on culture, collaboration, and capability building is expected to underpin the company’s next phase of innovation and workforce excellence.
