Novartis, a global leader in innovative medicines, has announced the appointment of Jonas Prasanna as Head – People Services & Solutions, India.
Based in Hyderabad, Jonas will lead the company’s HR operations and service delivery across India, with a strategic focus on enhancing employee experience and driving operational excellence.
With over 15 years of global HR leadership experience, Jonas brings a diverse background spanning aerospace, media, and technology sectors. Before joining Novartis, he served as the APAC HRBP Leader at Boeing, where he led cross-cultural teams across India, Singapore, Japan, Korea, and the US.
He has also held senior HR roles at Disney+ Hotstar, Capgemini, and Philips, with a strong track record in talent management, digital HR transformation, and building inclusive workplace cultures.
An alumnus of IIM Kozhikode, Jonas is widely recognized for his strategic mindset and people-first leadership style. At Novartis, he will play a key role in aligning HR operations with the company’s broader transformation agenda, supporting its mission to reimagine medicine and build a future-ready workforce.
