Tata Digital has appointed Snigdha Singh as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective 1 July 2026, strengthening its executive leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on financial services and digital transformation.
Singh joins the Executive Leadership Team and will report to Sajith Sivanandan, CEO and Managing Director. She will lead the company's people strategy, overseeing talent, culture, organisational effectiveness and workforce transformation as Tata Digital continues to scale its digital business.
The appointment also makes Singh one of the youngest C-suite leaders within the Tata Group's digital business.
Leading the next phase of people transformation
In her new role, Singh will be responsible for the company's end-to-end people function. Her mandate includes:
- Talent strategy and workforce planning
- Organisational effectiveness and operating models
- Leadership development
- Culture and employee experience
- Workforce transformation to support business growth
The appointment comes as Tata Digital continues to strengthen its leadership team to support its evolving business priorities in digital commerce and financial services.
Brings experience across Tata Consumer and OYO
Singh joins Tata Digital from Tata Consumer Products, where she served as Vice President, Human Resources.
During her tenure, she led organisation effectiveness, culture, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and employee relations. She also played a significant role in shaping organisational capability and people practices across the business.
Before joining Tata Consumer Products, Singh spent nearly five years at OYO, progressing through multiple HR leadership roles including Director, Assistant Vice President and Vice President, Human Resources.
In her most recent position, she led OYO's Global Rewards and Mobility Centre of Excellence, supporting operations across:
- India
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Latin America
- Europe
- Southeast Asia
She also headed HR for OYO's international businesses, including Weddingz, Workspaces, Student Housing, and Luxury and Upscale Hotels, gaining experience in managing talent across diverse markets during periods of rapid organisational growth.
Career built across multiple industries
Prior to OYO, Singh spent more than five years at Cipla, where she led the HR function for the pharmaceutical company's respiratory business across North India, Uttar Pradesh and the eastern region.
She began her career at Procter & Gamble, working for more than three years in HR roles supporting manufacturing operations.
Her early career also included assignments and internships with:
- Tata Motors
- Godrej Industries
- ABN AMRO
- HPCL
These roles provided exposure to talent management, organisational development, change management and HR systems.
Strong academic foundation
Singh is an alumna of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
Her appointment adds an experienced HR leader with expertise across consumer goods, hospitality, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing to Tata Digital's leadership team. As the company expands its digital and financial services businesses, Singh is expected to play a central role in shaping its people strategy, leadership capability and organisational culture.
