IIFL Wealth and Asset Management (IIFL WAM) has announced the appointment of Navin Upadhyaya as Chief Human Resource Officer. 

In this new role, Upadhyaya will be tasked with the overall human resources strategy, with a priority focus on culture, talent management, learning & development, and diversity and inclusion.

Upadhyaya possesses close to twenty years of professional experience in various industries (particularly finance) as a senior HR leader. Previously, he was the Director and Head of HR at Citibank for its Institutional Client Group (ICG) for India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. He has also worked with IDBI, Standard Chartered and Blue Dart in the capacity of HR Head in the last decade.

Upadhyaya has developed his skills in effective leadership for both build teams along with the innate understanding of organizational awareness and its growth.

He holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management from the University of Pune and regularly mentors startups for building inclusive ecosystems for supporting the Diversity & Inclusion agenda.
