Rolls-Royce inaugurates largest GCC hub in Bengaluru

Rolls-Royce, a global leader in the manufacture and servicing of aero engines for large civil aircraft and corporate jets, has inaugurated its newly expanded Global Capability & Innovation Centre (GCIC) in Bengaluru.

The development marks a significant milestone in the company’s nine-decade-long presence in India and reinforces its commitment to leveraging the country’s growing talent base and innovation ecosystem
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. M.B. Patil, Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, Government of Karnataka, Lindy C. CB OBE, British High Commissioner to India, and Rolls-Royce’s Global Chief Financial Officer, Helen McCabe.
In a statement, the company said, “We are proud to announce the opening of Rolls-Royce’s newly expanded Global Capability & Innovation Centre in Bengaluru — a significant milestone in our nine-decades long journey in India.” The Bengaluru centre is set to become Rolls-Royce’s largest capability hub worldwide, supporting key corporate functions across the company’s Civil, Defence, and Power Systems businesses. 
It will also play a central role in advancing the group’s digital and engineering expertise, building capabilities that can serve global operations.
