Digital has impacted each and every facet of our work and life. But how far-reaching are these effects? As part of the HiPo week which focuses on HiPos and HiPo programs, People Matters for the first time organized a Twitter debate to take a hard look at what has changed or not changed for HiPos in the digital age.
Have the competencies needed by the HiPos changed or has their role changed under the impact of the digital? What about the fundamental methodology of assessing and identifying the HiPos, the methodology/ interventions to develop HiPos or keeping them engaged? Most important, do the business expectations from HiPos remain unchanged in the Digital Age?
