HiPos have very disntinctive capabilities in terms of skills, competencies and performance that they bring to the table
There are four things that are necessary for a High Potential program to succeed. Firstly, a very clear perception of who is a HiPo in your context. Secondly, how do you identify these HiPos? Thirdly, what do you do with them after you've identified them. It should not be such that HiPos lose confidence in the process. Lastly, how do you tie up your HiPo program into your overall business strategy
